Mysuru, Sept. 29: Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Vijayanagar has been carrying out a significant service initiative continuously for the past three years, providing free yoga education to children in government schools under the Rashtrotthana Parishat’s service project. Having already provided free yoga training to students from three government schools, the institution has added another government school to its service outreach this year.
- Against this backdrop, the free yoga education initiative was officially launched today at Bogadi Government High School.
- Addressing the students during the event, Principal Sri Shivaraju provided detailed information about the various service activities conducted under the Rashtrotthana Parishat’s project. He highlighted values such as ‘Sadhana’ (dedicated practice) and ‘Tapas’ (disciplined effort), encouraging students to imbibe them and make the most of them in their lives.
- Subsequently, the service activity was symbolically inaugurated through the planting of a sapling.
- Purvaj, an 8th-grade student and a national-level yoga athlete from the school, performed a yoga dance to inspire the government school students.
- Speaking on the occasion, Sri Lingaraju, Headmaster of Bogadi Government High School, urged students to make full use of the invaluable service being provided to government school children by Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Vijayanagar. He stated that this initiative would contribute to the physical, mental, and moral development of the children through free yoga education.
ಮೈಸೂರು, ಸೆ. 29: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ವಿಜಯನಗರವು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಸೇವಾ ಪ್ರಕಲ್ಪದಡಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತ ಯೋಗ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ನೀಡುವ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಸೇವಾ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಳೆದ ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಮೂರು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತ ಯೋಗ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಶಾಲೆಯು, ಈ ವರ್ಷ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಯನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಗೆ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆ.
- ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೋಗಾದಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಚಿತ ಯೋಗ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಸೇವಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗೆ ಇಂದು ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.
- ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಿವರಾಜು ಅವರು, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಸೇವಾ ಪ್ರಕಲ್ಪದಡಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ವಿವಿಧ ಸೇವಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ವಿವರವಾದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ‘ಸಾಧನ’ ಮತ್ತು ‘ತಪಸ್ಸು’ ಎಂಬ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಸದುಪಯೋಗಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದರು.
- ನಂತರ ಸಸಿ ನೆಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಸೇವಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗೆ ಸಾಂಕೇತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.
- ಶಾಲೆಯ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಯೋಗ ಪಟುವಾದ 8ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಪೂರ್ವಜ್ ಅವರು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಯೋಗ ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದರು.
- ಬೋಗಾದಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಲಿಂಗರಾಜು ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ವಿಜಯನಗರ ವು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗಾಗಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಈ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಸದುಪಯೋಗಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಉಚಿತ ಯೋಗ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ದೈಹಿಕ, ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ನೈತಿಕ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಈ ಸೇವೆ ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
