Mysuru, Aug. 22: Varamahalakshmi Vrat was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Vijayanagar. Students, teaching and non-teaching staff and Matrubharathi mothers celebrated the festival together in a traditional manner. The program began with the installation of Kalash and puja rituals by Matrubharathi members, along with Lakshmi Ashtottar. The students performed devotional bhajans and traditional dances on Goddess Lakshmi. The importance of the day was demonstrated through a skit and the children were given a beautiful picture of the glory of Mother Varamahalakshmi. After the Maha Mangalarati, Prasada was distributed.
ಮೈಸೂರು, ಆ. 22: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ವಿಜಯನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ವರಮಹಾಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ವ್ರತವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, ಬೋಧಕ-ಬೋಧಕೇತರ ನೌಕರರು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾತೃಭಾರತಿ ತಾಯಂದಿರೆಲ್ಲರು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಬದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಮಾತೃಭಾರತಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಂದ ಕಲಶ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪೂಜಾ ವಿಧಿವಿಧಾನಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು, ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಅಷ್ಟೋತ್ತರವೂ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀದೇವಿ ಕುರಿತ ಭಕ್ತಿಪೂರ್ವಕ ಭಜನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ನೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಕಿರು ನಾಟಕದ ಮೂಲಕ ದಿನದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ತಾಯಿ ವರಮಹಾಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿಯ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸುಂದರ ಚಿತ್ರಣ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಮಹಾ ಮಂಗಳಾರತಿಯ ಅನಂತರ ಪ್ರಸಾದವನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
