Mysuru, Mar. 14: Sri Satyanarayana Puja was performed at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Vijayanagar. The puja of Sriman Satyanarayana Swamy, which began with the hymn of Vighna Vinashaka Vighneshwara, the destroyer of obstacles, was performed in a traditional and ritualistic manner.

Mysuru, Jan. 19: Purandaradasa Jayanti was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Vijayanagar. The students narrated the life story of Sri Purandaradasa. They highlighted his spiritual transformation and his contribution to the Dasa tradition. While some students narrated important events of his life, others performed a mini-drama in the form of a one-act play to bring the story to life in an engaging manner.
