Mysuru, Jan. 19: Purandaradasa Jayanti was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Vijayanagar. The students narrated the life story of Sri Purandaradasa. They highlighted his spiritual transformation and his contribution to the Dasa tradition. While some students narrated important events of his life, others performed a mini-drama in the form of a one-act play to bring the story to life in an engaging manner. Later, the theme music section showcased the invaluable contributions of Purandaradasa to the field of music. The students performed compositions ranging from simple songs to mobile songs.
ಮೈಸೂರು, ಜ. 19: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ವಿಜಯನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪುರಂದರದಾಸ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಶ್ರೀ ಪುರಂದರದಾಸರ ಜೀವನ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆ ಮತ್ತು ದಾಸ ಪರಂಪರೆಗೆ ಅವರ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. ಕೆಲವು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಅವರ ಜೀವನದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಘಟನೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರೆ, ಇತರರು ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಆಕರ್ಷಕವಾಗಿ ಜೀವಂತಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಏಕ-ನಟನೆಯ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಕಿರುನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ನಂತರ, ಥೀಮ್ ಮ್ಯೂಸಿಕ್ ವಿಭಾಗವು ಪುರಂದರದಾಸರು ಸಂಗೀತ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸರಳೇ ಗೀತೆಯಿಂದ ಸಂಚಾರಿ ಗೀತೆಯವರೆಗೆ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
