Mysuru, June 29: School gardeners at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Vijayanagara, using the garbage collected during daily school campus cleaning, food waste left over from camps and other programs, grew greens and vegetables using organic fertilisers such as vermicompost, water-soluble fertiliser, etc., and collected the money from the sale and handed over the idol of Goddess Lakshmi to the school principal. This is their third donation. Previously, they had also donated idols of the goddess Saraswati and the lord Ganapati similarly.
ಮೈಸೂರು, ಜೂ. 29: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ವಿಜಯನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಗಾರ್ಡನರ್ ಗಳು ನಿತ್ಯ ಶಾಲಾ ಕ್ಯಾಂಪಸ್ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಗುವ ತರಗೆಲೆಗಳು, ಶಿಬಿರ ಇನ್ನಿತರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಸಂದರ್ಭಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿಯುವ ಆಹಾರ ಪದಾರ್ಥದ ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿ ಎರೆಹುಳ ಗೊಬ್ಬರ, ಎರೆಜಲ ಗೊಬ್ಬರ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ ಸಾವಯವ ಗೊಬ್ಬರದ ಮೂಲಕ ಸೊಪ್ಪು, ತರಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿ, ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಾಡಿ ಬಂದ ದುಡ್ಡನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಟ್ಟು ಅದರಿಂದ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ದೇವಿಯ ವಿಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಆಚಾರ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಿದರು. ಇದು ಅವರ ಮೂರನೇ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಹಿಂದೆ, ದೇವಿ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಗಣಪತಿ ದೇವರ ವಿಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು ಕೂಡಾ ಇದೇ ರೀತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು.
