Mysuru, Feb. 13: Mahashivratri festival was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Vijayanagar. Gokulam children performed in the costumes of various avatars of Lord Shiva. The program began with the worship of Lord Shiva. The importance of Shivaratri festival was explained to the students. The students sang devotional songs on Lord Shiva, and performed a soulful dance. Prasad was distributed to all the children.
ಮೈಸೂರು, ಫೆ. 13: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ವಿಜಯನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾಶಿವರಾತ್ರಿ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಗೋಕುಲಂ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಶಿವನ ವಿವಿಧ ಅವತಾರಗಳ ವೇಷ ಧರಿಸಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಶಿವನ ಪೂಜೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಶಿವರಾತ್ರಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಶಿವನ ಕುರಿತ ಭಕ್ತಿಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು, ಮತ್ತು ಭಾವಪೂರ್ಣ ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಪ್ರಸಾದ ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
