Mysuru, Jan. 26: India’s 77th Republic Day was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Vijayanagar. Retired Lieutenant Colonel Sri Satish arrived as the chief guest for the program and hoisted the flag. Then a disciplined parade was held by the students. The students performed dumbbell exercises. And presented the patriotic song. As the main attraction of the program, the students performed a dance performance based on the theme of “Operation Sindoora”. Then they performed a yoga performance. Anagha of class 6, who brought glory to the school and the district by securing 58th place at the national level and 7th place at the state level in the ‘Vande Mataram’ singing competition, was felicitated. Later, the chief guest, retired Lieutenant Colonel Shri Satish, addressed the children and told them about the importance of patriotism, discipline, sense of duty and growing up to be good citizens and serving the country.
ಮೈಸೂರು, ಜ. 26: ಭಾರತದ 77ನೇ ಗಣರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ವಿಜಯನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಲೆಫ್ಟಿನೆಂಟ್ ಕರ್ನಲ್ ಶ್ರೀ ಸತೀಶ್ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದು ಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು. ನಂತರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಶಿಸ್ತುಬದ್ಧವಾದ ಪಥಸಂಚಲನ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಡಂಬಲ್ ವ್ಯಾಯಾಮವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಹಾಗೂ ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆಯಾಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು “ಆಪರೇಷನ್ ಸಿಂಧೂರ” ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಆಧರಿಸಿದ ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಯೋಗದ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ‘ವಂದೇ ಮಾತರಂ’ ಗಾಯನ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ 58ನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ 7ನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಗಳಿಸಿ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗೆ ಕೀರ್ತಿ ತಂದಿದ್ದ 6ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಅನಘಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ನಂತರ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾದ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಲೆಫ್ಟಿನೆಂಟ್ ಕರ್ನಲ್ ಶ್ರೀ ಸತೀಶ್ ಅವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ದೇಶಪ್ರೇಮ, ಶಿಸ್ತು, ಕರ್ತವ್ಯಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಉತ್ತಮ ನಾಗರಿಕರಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದು ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
