Mysuru, Mar. 13: Holi festival was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Vijayanagar.
The Holikadevi idol was worshipped and then Holika Dahan was performed. Teacher Smt. Ishwari spoke about the importance of Holi, the festival of colours. The students of class 4 melodiously sang a rhyme that conveyed the importance of colours.
The students and teachers celebrated Holi by applying colours to each other.
ಮೈಸೂರು, ಮಾ. 13: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ವಿಜಯನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಲಿ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಹೋಲಿಕಾದೇವಿ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಗೆ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ಆನಂತರ ಹೋಲಿಕಾ ದಹನವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಈಶ್ವರಿಯವರು ಬಣ್ಣಗಳ ಹಬ್ಬ ಹೋಲಿಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದರು. 4ನೆಯ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಬಣ್ಣಗಳ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಾಸಗೀತೆಯೊಂದನ್ನು ಸುಮಧುರವಾಗಿ ಹಾಡಿದರು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಬಣ್ಣ ಹಚ್ಚಿ ಹೋಳಿಯನ್ನು ಸಂಭ್ರಮಿಸಿದರು.
