Mysuru, Feb. 18: The Jayanti of ‘Purandardasa and Thyagaraja’ was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Vijayanagar.
Students of class III, Riddi Lokesh and Joshni, explained the life and achievements of Purandardasa and Thyagaraja. Students of class III, Bhavish and Jeevan, dressed up as Dasaru and performed. Selected students of class V sang the Dasarapada composed by Purandardasa and Thyagaraja in harmony.
