Mysuru, May. 25: Aksharabhyasa and Vidyrambha program was
organized for the newly admitted students of the academic year 2025-26 here in Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Vijayanagar.At the beginning of the program, Sri Prakash conducted Ganahoma and Saraswati Puja. Pujya Swami Agaharanandaji Maharaj, Sri. Ramakrishna Vidyashala, Mysuru, presided over the divine presence and offered the Poornahuti to the holy Homa. Sri Chandrashekhar M.G., Convenor, Convenor Committee, R.V. K. School, Mysuru were the chief guests. Sri Shivaraj N., Principal, introduced the social works of Rashtrotthana Parishath in his introductory remarks. Rashtrotthana Parishath’s blood centre, thalassemia scheme, sadhana, tapas, seva vasati, education for 25,000 children, many children who are doctors, IAS officers, and those serving in the army have studied in Rashtrotthana schools, he said, “No one owns the Rashtrotthana, everyone thinks it is theirs.Pujya Maharaj and Sri Nagesh helped the children write ‘Om’ and ‘Aa
kara’ in the bowl of rice. Maharaj wrote ‘Om’ on the board. The Sri who gave the blessing told the inspiring stories of Vivekananda and explained the historical roots behind Akshrabhyasa. He said that children should be seen as friends and stand with them in their difficult times. Our culture is scientifically influencing children today. Therefore, we should preserve and cultivate our culture and rituals and teach them to our children, he told the parents. Sushruta, student of class 6 donated two works on Yoga to school library. The children participated in the program in traditional attire along with their parents. At the same time, the school rules were explained to the parents and the children. Prasad was distributed at the end of the program.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವದ ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಅವರು ಗಣಹೋಮ ಮತ್ತು ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಪೂಜೆ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಅಘಹರಾನಂದಜಿ ಮಹಾರಾಜ್, ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ವಿದ್ಯಾಶಾಲೆ, ಮೈಸೂರು, ಇವರು ದಿವ್ಯಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಹೋಮಕ್ಕೆ ಪೂರ್ಣಾಹುತಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ್ ಎಂ.ಜಿ.,ಸಂಚಾಲಕರು, ಸಂಚಾಲನಾ ಸಮಿತಿ, ರಾ.ವಿ.ಕೆ. ಶಾಲೆ, ಮೈಸೂರು ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಿವರಾಜ್ ಎನ್. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಸ್ತಾವಿಕ ನುಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ ನ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳ ಪರಿಚಯ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ ನ ರಕ್ತಕೇಂದ್ರ, ತಲಸ್ಸೇಮಿಯಾ ಯೋಜನೆ, ಸಾಧನಾ, ತಪಸ್, ಸೇವಾ ವಸತಿ, 25,000 ಸಾವಿರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯೆ, ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಡಾಕ್ಟರ್, ಐಎಎಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು, ಸೈನ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವವರೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿತವರಿದ್ದು, “ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾರೂ
ಮಾಲಿಕರಿಲ್ಲ, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ಇದನ್ನು ತನ್ನದೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ” ಎಂದರು. ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಮಹಾರಾಜ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀ ನಾಗೇಶ್ ಅವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಅಕ್ಕಿಯನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದ ಬಟ್ಟಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಓಂ ಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಅ ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಬರೆಯಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ನೆರವಾದರು. ಮಹಾರಾಜ್ ಅವರು ಬೋರ್ಡಿನ ಮೇಲೆ
ಓಂ ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಬರೆದರು. ಆಶೀರ್ವಚನ ನೀಡಿದ ಶ್ರೀಗಳು ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿಯುತ ಕಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿ ಅಕ್ಷರಾಭ್ಯಾಸದ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಬೇರನ್ನು ತೊಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರಂತೆ ಕಂಡು ಅವರ ಕಷ್ಟದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು. ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರಗಳು ಇಂದು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೇಲೆ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಭಾವ ಬೀರುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ,
ಆಚರಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿ ಬೆಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಕಲಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಪೋಷಕರಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಮಾತು ಹೇಳಿದರು. 6ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಸುಶ್ರುತ ಯೋಗದ ಮೇಲಿನ 2 ಕೃತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಶಾಲೆಯ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಿದಳು.
ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಉಡುಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾಲಕರೊಡನೆ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು. ಇದೇ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ನಿಯಮಾವಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪಾಲಕರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸಾದ ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
